To START Press Brake

A reminder to press the brake while starting your vehicle. Displays if the system does not detect the intelligent access key in the following three scenarios: When you press the start/stop button in an attempt to either start the engine or cycle through the ignition states. When the engine is running and a door is opened then closed. When the vehicle’s speed exceeds 10 mph (16 km/h) for the first time after starting. When you press the Start Stop button to shut off the engine, the system does not detect an Intelligent Access key inside your vehicle. Displays when the vehicle is in the accessory ignition state. There is a problemwith your vehicle’s starting system. Contact an authorized dealer for service. Displays during spare key programming, when you program an intelligent access key to the system. You have programmed the maximum number of keys to the system.
