Differential lock Introduction to the rear axle electronically controlled differential lock
This system includes a rear axle differential lock designed for use when one of the rear drive wheels slips. Engaging the differential lock ensures sufficient torque is delivered to the non-slipping drive wheels on the rear axle, providing the vehicle with greater traction to escape a stuck position. Avoid using on paved roads during sharp turns or at high speeds to prevent differential lock damage or mishaps.
Warning!
Do not modify the vehicle's powertrain and transmission systems to prevent damage to the differential lock; Differential locks must not be used on paved roads; The differential lock is intended for use only when the vehicle is stuck and should be disengaged immediately once freed; After engaging the differential lock, carefully steer the vehicle, avoiding sudden maneuvers as they significantly compromise stability and increase accident risk; Manual rear axle differential lock Prompt The following conditions must be met for proper engagement: 1. Vehicle speed is less than 5 km/h; 2. Speed differential between left and right wheels is less than 5 km/h; With the vehicle in READY mode, pressing the [] button and seeing a green [] indicator on the instrument panel confirms the differential lock is engaged successfully.
