Vehicle driving

9. Vehicles in neighboring lanes

Caution When IACC is active and in car-following control mode, the lead vehicle appears in white.

Warning! The distance indicated on the instrument panel from the vehicle ahead and the status of vehicles in adjacent lanes might differ from the actual conditions. You must maintain real-time observation of the vehicle and the road, adjust cruising speed and car-following headway appropriately, and if necessary, take over control to ensure that the vehicle can stop safely at any time. You are fully responsible for maintaining safe driving at all times. Due to interference from light sources (such as instrument reflections or wearing sunglasses) and environmental sounds (such as high volumes from in-car entertainment systems), warning information from the instrument panel may be difficult to detect. Drivers must constantly monitor the vehicle's status and road conditions, take control promptly, and not wait for warning signals before responding. Instructions for use The operating speed range of IACC is 0-130 km/h. New users are advised to drive a certain distance on straight roads with clear lane markings (such as highways) to complete the integrated adaptive system's centering calibration. 1. Single-lane intelligent driver assistant IACC prioritizes steering assistance control based on the clear lane lines detected on both sides of the lane. At this time, IACC is in lane line control mode, and the IACC icon and lane lines on the instrument display screen appear in green, while the preceding vehicle (if detected) appears in white. 2. Traffic congestion assistance When the vehicle speed is below 60 km/h, if the lane lines are not detected, the vehicle can still follow the detected target vehicle ahead. At this time, IACC is in follow control mode, and the IACC icon on the instrument display screen appears in green, and the preceding vehicle appears in white. Warning! Traffic congestion assistance is only applicable when vehicles are queued in sequence. Do not use IACC when entering or exiting toll stations, or on roads with chaotic traffic, random congestion, or tight turning radii. When the preceding vehicle turns too quickly, IACC may not assist the vehicle in following the turn. The system might lock onto a new target vehicle or revert to ACC active state, accelerating at the set cruise speed. The driver must monitor system status constantly and, if necessary, disable IACC and regain control of the vehicle. In congested situations, drivers are recommended to set an appropriate car-following headway to prevent accidents resulting from close car-following and delayed response. Activate IACC When the vehicle is powered on or in the starting state, click [Vehicle Center] - [Intelligent Driving] - [Driving Assistance] on the central control display screen to set driving preference to integrated adaptive cruise control.
