Maintenance and self-service

Caution When refilling coolant, use the service center-specific coolant with a -40°C freezing point (mixing prohibited). Do not use hard water or impure water such as tap, river, well, or mineral water as coolant. If coolant splashes into the eyes, rinse immediately with ample water and seek medical attention if severe. Liquid level check 1. Open the hood; 2. Remove the hood trim; 3. Align your view with the coolant level in the reservoir; if below the MIN line, add coolant. Brake fluid Brake wear can cause gradual reduction in brake fluid level. Regular checks are essential to keep it between MAX and MIN marks.

Check the brake fluid level in the reservoir If the reservoir brake fluid level is low, top it up to the "MAX" mark. Fluid level decreases with mileage increase, a normal effect linked to brake lining wear. A low fluid level might impair system performance. If the brake system warning light illuminates on the central display, check the fluid level immediately. If the fluid level is unusually low, have the brake system checked at an authorized service center. Caution Prior to removing the reservoir cap and adding brake fluid, clean the surrounding area thoroughly to prevent contamination. After each fluid change, ensure any air in the brake line system is expelled.
