Maintenance and self-service

Braking: Maintain a distance of at least twice from the vehicle ahead to prevent emergency braking scenarios. Sudden braking may result in slipping, bottom scratches, or loss of control. Overtaking: Towing a trailer demands a longer overtaking distance. Reverse: When towing a trailer, reversing poses challenges and should be approached with caution at low speeds. Turning: When towing a trailer, ensure smooth turns, avoid bumps or sudden maneuvers, and activate turn signals in advance. When turning, the turning radius must be larger than when not towing a trailer. This prevents the trailer from colliding with shoulders, road signs, trees, or other objects. Slope parking: Avoid parking on slopes whenever possible. If unavoidable, ensure that the tractor and trailer tires are securely wedged, as failure could result in serious damage, injury, or fatality. Towing guidance: Decrease driving speed and avoid abrupt maneuvers. When towing a trailer, steering, stability, turning radius, and braking performance differ from driving without a trailer. Traction parameters The maximum allowable towing mass is 1600 kg. The maximum allowable towing mass encompasses the total trailer mass, including all cargo and additional equipment. The maximum vertical load-bearing capacity is 75 kg. The maximum vertical load refers to the downward pressure exerted by the trailer mass on the trailer hook when the tractor is stationary while towing. For initial towing, verify the towing and vertical load-bearing weights, avoiding overweight usage.
