Unloaded Vehicle Condition (For 8x2S only) In 8x2S vehicles, is automatically raised and not allowed to be lowered again in unloaded vehicle condition - until live and tag axles have been loaded up to 12 ton approximately in total - in order to improve the handling, braking and life cycle performance of the self-steered axle. A warning message shall be displayed on the Information Menu in this case. Axle Weights When the vehicle is loaded over the limits allowed for axles' loads, axle(s) which have been raised before are automatically lowered according to the loading amount and a warning message is displayed on the Information Menu.

Pressing the ButtonWhile Axle is Raised If the system allows, relevant axle is lowered, icon disappears from the Function menu of the instrument panel and the light on the button is turned off. If the system does not allow, relevant axle is not lowered, warning message is displayed on the Information menu of the instrument panel and the light on the Axle lowering functions are cancelled for safety reasons if the vehicle speed is over 30 km/h. In this case, when the button is pressed to lower/raise the axle, the axle positions do not change and a warning message is displayed on the instrument panel. button is not turned off. System Error System has the feature to detect any faults that may occur in electronic components such as axle raising valves. In such a case, a warning message and the symbol are displayed, and the axles are brought to ground position for safe driving. Take your vehicle to an authorized workshop to have the fault repaired in such a case.
