ADVANCED AERODYNAMICS XE can offer an incredibly low drag co-efficient of Cd 0.28. This helps XE cut through the air with ease, meaning less work for the engine and therefore reduced fuel consumption and emissions.

LOW FRICTION TECHNOLOGIES Technologies such as smart coatings on XE's pistons and needle roller bearings in the Ingenium engine range help to reduce friction, particularly at low engine temperatures. This helps the car perform at its efficient best.

STOP/START All XE's engines are available with Stop/Start*. It shuts down the engine when you come to a complete halt and restarts the engine immediately when required to help save fuel, especially during urban driving.
