AERODYNAMIC DESIGN F-TYPE INSPIRED DESIGN

XF's sweeping exterior design is naturally aerodynamic. Its advanced form enhances handling, dynamics and refinement. Airflow is carefully managed through and around the car. Intakes either side of the front grille draw air in, then channel it out from the wheel arches to reduce turbulence. As air flows along the car, pressure differences that can cause drag are minimised by the flush, aerodynamically optimised sides. At the rear, XF's tail lights feature a distinctive, F-TYPE inspired roundel and intersecting horizontal detail. The LED brake lights are not only brighter than halogen bulbs, they use less energy – contributing to XF's overall drive for greater efficiency. LEDs also illuminate faster – so following drivers can react more quickly to XF's braking. Within the tail lights is a pinstripe graphic – one of XF's many exquisite finishing touches.
