Si4 300PS The new 4-cylinder 2.0 litre Si4 Petrol engine utilises cutting-edge innovations to enhance every aspect of performance. Technologies such as Continuous Variable Valve Lift system in combination with variable cam timing delivers maximum efficiency, optimising both performance and fuel economy. The 300PS engine produces torque of up to 400Nm at 1,500-4,000 rpm and offers enhanced boosting technology through its turbocharger, featuring ceramic ball bearings and a high flow compressor wheel, an innovation ensuring the best possible launch performance and transient response while still delivering high peak power. The electronically controlled split flow cooling system improves engine warm up, resulting in lower fuel consumption and emissions.
Si6 340PS A Roots-type twin vortex supercharger is mounted in the āVā between the two rows of cylinders for compact dimensions. Supercharging provides linear delivery of power and maximises responsiveness. This results in performance matching much larger engines, while optimising economy and reducing emissions. The V6 engine also features dual independent variable cam timing to vary inlet and exhaust valve operation, working alongside lightweight pistons with ultra-low friction piston rings, for increased performance and efficiency. For added refinement there is a twin, contra-rotating balancer shaft system.
