The standard 6-speed SelectShift® automatic transmission features steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters you can use to shift for yourself, or leave it all to your MKZ.

Twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT) controls when its intake and exhaust valves open and close, helping to optimize fuel combustion – and deliver power and low-speed torque for smooth, responsive passing and merging.
