PETROL ENGINES*

Si4 The high-performance Ingenium 300PS, 400Nm 2.0 litre 4-cylinder Turbocharged Petrol engine features upgrades to the boosting system. –– Delivering a peak torque of 400Nm between 1,500-4,000rpm. –– The uprated turbocharger features a high flow compressor wheel delivering 26 percent more air, enabling a peak power output of 300PS. –– The twin-scroll turbocharger features ceramic ball-bearings which reduces friction and improves transient response.

V6 SUPERCHARGED 3.0 litre V6 340/380PS Supercharged Petrol engine produces 450Nm of torque for exhilarating performance. –– The Roots-type Twin Vortex System (TVS) supercharger provides linear power delivery and maximises responsiveness. –– A spray guided direct injection system carefully manages the air-fuel mixture in the combustion chamber for improved combustion, extracting more energy from the fuel injected. This results in excellent power, while improving fuel economy and reducing emissions. –– The engine also features dual independent variable cam timing to vary inlet and exhaust valve operation, working alongside lightweight pistons with ultra-low friction piston rings, for increased performance and efficiency. –– A twin, contra-rotating balancer shaft system is employed to maximise refinement; resulting in an engine with incredibly smooth power delivery.

V8 SUPERCHARGED 525PS With 525PS and 625Nm of torque, the 5.0 litre V8 Supercharged Petrol engine provides stunning performance for ultimate dynamism and driver engagement. –– The V8 has a compact and lightweight all-aluminium design, with impressively low levels of internal friction. –– The engine has been optimised around a state- of-the-art Bosch engine management system. This features high-pressure direct injection with a centrally mounted, multi-hole, spray-guided injection system. –– Fitted with a sixth generation Twin Vortex System (TVS) supercharger, the engine offers superior thermodynamic efficiency and extremely refined noise levels. The supercharger fully utilises the additional capacity of the 5.0 litre engine, generating a torque profile that delivers outstanding levels of power in a linear and engaging manner. –– The result is an impressively powerful yet refined drivetrain that delivers on both sporting excitement and luxurious refinement whenever required.

V8 SUPERCHARGED 575PS Exclusive to SVR, the 5.0 litre Supercharged V8 Petrol engine has been uprated to deliver 575PS and 700Nm of torque. This is enabled by a recalibration of the engine and its management system to increase maximum available boost pressure. Maximum torque is delivered at 3,500-5,000rpm.
