Parking and Steering Assist

Front and Rear Disc Brakes

This vehicle is a hydraulic disc brake. Depressing or releasing the brake pedal will enable or disable the brake. Each time you start the vehicle, you must first lightly press the brake pedal to enter "Ready" mode. After entering the "Ready" mode, the brake assist system is activated to working state. At this time, the brake pedal force will be softer and more linear than when the vehicle is not started.

WARNING

Before driving, please make sure the indicator lamps for brake system are all functioning right.

The brake lining is equipped with wear indication device: If there is metal scraping sound (spring leaf scrapes brake disc) when brake is applied, please go to an authorized dealer for inspection and repair immediately. Don’t keep driving if the wear limit of brake lining is achieved; otherwise it may cause accident easily.

Electrical Parking Brake (EPB)

The commonly used functions of EPB include: static parking function, Drive Away Assist (DAA), High Temperature Reclamp (HTR) function, slope re - clamping function, Dynamic Break function (DBF), and power - off Automatic Parking Function (AUTO HOLD). After the vehicle stops, press the P gear button or click [Vehicle Center] - [Safety Maintenance] - [Electronic Parking Brake (EPB)] on the central control display screen, the parking brake is clamped, and the EPB working indicator on the central control display screen lights up (in red). When releasing the parking brake, first depress the brake pedal, then switch from P gear to D/R/N gear, Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) is released and the corresponding indicator goes out. It is normal for the motor to make sounds when the parking brake is applied and released.

WARNING

When the driver leaves the vehicle, please use P gear to park the vehicle to ensure safety and reliability.

illuminates, please contact a Changan Automobile authorized dealer for

repair.

Drive Away Assist (DAA)

DAA is one of the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) assist functions. When DAA is working,
