Maintenance and Self - service
longer for the fog to completely dissipate, depending on factors such as ambient temperature, humidity and the length of time the lights are used.
Determination of Lamp Fogging/Frosting
Start the vehicle, turn on high beam, and keep the lights on for 30 to 40 minutes (in extremely cold areas, drive the vehicle indoors), and then perform the following visual inspection:
1. There is no water accumulation inside the lamp;
2. No fog is visible at 1 meter from the lamp.
If the above conditions are met, the headlights are normal.
Use, cleaning and maintenance of exterior lamps
The vehicle's taillight cover material is PMMA, a high molecular polymer also known as plexiglass, acrylic, etc. PMMA is not resistant to organic matter and high temperature. Contact with organic solvents or sudden changes in surface temperature may have irreversible effects on the performance of the lamp, such as cracking, delamination, cracks, performance degradation, etc.
Please pay attention to the following points during your daily vehicle maintenance:
1. When washing your car, avoid using water with the temperature exceeding 60°C or using hot water above 60°C to prepare detergent; 2. When cleaning foreign matter on the surface of vehicles and lamps, avoid using high - concentration (40 vol%) alcohol - containing scrubs, tire cleaning (retreading) agents (strong activators or diluents are corrosive to the surface of lamps), tar cleaning agents (often containing light petroleum distillates), Gaslion and other chemical reagents (hydrofluoric acid, various esters, ketones, aromatic hydrocarbons, etc.) and other reagents that come into contact with the surface of lamps; 3. When using organic cleaning agents in car covers, body paint repair, body exterior parts renovation, etc., avoid contact between the organic cleaning agents mentioned in point 2 and the outer surface of the lamp; 4. Avoid excessive exposure of lamps to high temperature environments, such as paint spraying rooms, long - term exposure in the open air, etc., as such conditions may have irreversible effects on the performance of the lamps. 5. When the lamp is exposed to the sun or other conditions that make the surface temperature high, avoid using cold water or other low - temperature liquid cleaning agents to clean the surface of the lamp; 6. In winter, please rinse the bottom and surface stains of the body in time after driving in areas with snow removal agents. National laws and regulations have clear provisions on the brightness of motor vehicle headlights. The headlights of all vehicles cannot be too bright or too dim, otherwise it is easy to cause safety accidents. Since our vehicles are designed to drive on the right, in order to avoid the headlights affecting the vision and safety of oncoming vehicles, according to the low beam illumination standard, the left light is less bright and the right light is more bright.
