3. Stand up the wiper arms, first press the lock button in direction ① as shown in the figure, then apply force in direction ② as shown in the figure to remove the wiper blades.

4. The installation sequence in the reverse order of the disassembly sequence.

5. Turn off the wiper maintenance mode and wiper blades will automatically return to their positions.

Wiper Maintenance Tips

Because wipers have not been used for a long time, wiper blades are deformed under pressure, and problems such as shaking, abnormal noise, and poor scraping occur in the first few operating cycles. The faults disappear after continuous scraping, which is a normal phenomenon. If the vehicle is parked for a long time, it is recommended to lift wiper arms once before driving to restore wiper blades to its original state (wiper blades are basically perpendicular to the glass), which can reduce the chance of deformation of the rubber strips.

CAUTION

Before fully raising wiper arms, wipers must be adjusted to the wiper maintenance mode, otherwise wiper arms will interfere with the hood during the raising process, damaging wiper arms and the paint of the hood.
