(1) As for child restraint system not marked (A~G) as per ISO/XX size category, the vehicle manufacturer shall, based on the applicable mass group, specify the special ISOFIX child restraint system recommended for each sitting position.

(2) Meaning of letters in the table above:

IUF: It applies to general forward - facing ISOFIX child restraint system approved for the mass group; IL: It applies to special ISOFIX child restraint system in the list. Such restraint systems may be special, restricted or semi - general;

X: The ISOFIX position doesn’t apply to the ISOFIX child restraint system of the mass group and/or the size category.
