Precautions before Driving

Before getting into vehicle

• Make sure all windows, exterior rearview mirror and exterior light surfaces are clean.

• Visually inspect tire for damage or proper inflation pressure and for foreign objects embedded in the tread.

• Before reversing, make sure there are no obstacles behind the vehicle.

• Check brake fluid and coolant levels for proper levels.

Before starting the vehicle

• After sitting down, lock all doors.

• Adjust the position of the seat, seat back and headrest to maintain a correct sitting posture.

• Adjust all rearview mirrors to proper position.

• Make sure all occupants wear seat belts properly.

• When the vehicle is powered on, check whether any warning lights are on on the central control display.

authorized dealer.

Precautions for Using Power Battery

• Power battery is located at the bottom of body. If you encounter a bumpy road, please drive carefully and do not bump the battery; • To ensure battery life and safety, the charging current will be adjusted according to the current charge and battery temperature, and the charging time will vary accordingly; • When power battery is in normal condition, the pure electric range may increase or decrease due to factors such as driving habits, road conditions, temperature, and whether the vehicle electrical appliances are turned on; • Due to the chemical properties of the battery itself, the battery capacity will naturally decay after a period of use, and the corresponding pure electric range will decrease accordingly, which is a normal phenomenon. If the pure electric range decreases significantly, please go to a Changan Automobile authorized dealer in time to check and confirm whether it is within the normal attenuation range. When you smelled the odor of any exhaust gas in your vehicle, please check the vehicle immediately. If you suspect that the exhaust gas has entered the vehicle when you are driving, please open all the windows and check the vehicle immediately. Don’t start the engine in an unventilated or enclosed area Elike a garage unless it is necessary to move the vehicle in or out. When it is necessary to park the vehicle in an open field for a long time with the engine running, please adjust the ventilation system to allow the air outside to enter the vehicle. Don’t sit in the vehicle for a long time under such condition. In case of engine failure Esuch as abnormal vibration, abnormal tail pipe noise or significant performance degradation, etc. , please go to a Changan Automobile authorized dealer for inspection in time. It is forbidden to modify any part of the engine or exhaust emission control system. All inspections and adjustments must be performed by a Changan Automobile authorized dealer. If you don’t follow these precautions, it may cause damage to the catalytic converter, and these damages aren’t covered by the warranty. Preventions against Engine Exhaust Emission Catalytic Converter Precautions
