Vehicle Driving

WARNING

HMA is an auxiliary function and can’t guarantee that it is applicable to all driving situations. You must keep control over the vehicle, drive carefully and take full responsibility. Under suitable conditions, HMA assists in switching high beam status. In the following working conditions or road sections, this function cannot switch high beam state, please control it manually:

• When driving in heavy rain, dense fog, snow or mud;

• When there are pedestrians or bicycles on or beside the road;

• When making sharp turns.

The system may not turn off the high beams if the lights of oncoming vehicles are blocked Ee.g. the isolation area .

On the central control display screen, click [Vehicle Center] - [Lights] - [Headlights] - [High Beam Assist EHMA ] to turn High-Beam Assist EHMA on or off.

After the function is turned on, when the white icon is displayed on the top of the center display, set the light switch on the center display to "AUTO" and the function enters standby mode. When the function is in standby mode, when driving at night, when the vehicle speed is above 30km/h, the function is automatically activated and a green light is displayed on the top of the central control display. This function automatically turns off high beam when the camera detects a vehicle or street light in front or the ambient illumination becomes brighter. When the camera detects that the vehicle ahead has disappeared for about 3 seconds, high beam will be turned back on. When the light switch on the central control display is set to other than "AUTO", the function enters standby mode and no longer automatically turns high beam on and off.
