Reverse Cross Traffic Emergency Braking (RCTEB)
The reverse cross traffic emergency braking function is an advanced derivative function of reverse lateral warning function in the rear warning system. It shares the lateral millimeter wave radar with the Lane Change Detection Assist to detect vehicles behind. The function triggering range and limitations are the same as those of reverse lateral warning function. Under the premise of meeting the reversing lateral warning function, when the system determines that the vehicle has an inevitable risk of collision with the rear crossing vehicle according to the current reversing situation, the reverse cross traffic emergency braking function will actively work. This function works when the vehicle speed is within the range of 4km/h-15km/h. The detection principle limitations of Lane Change Detection Assist will also affect the performance of the reverse lateral braking system. The reverse cross traffic braking system is mainly used for parking lot reverse scenarios. Due to the complex driving environment of real-time traffic, roads, weather, etc., the system cannot ensure correct detection under all conditions. System operation
