High voltage discharge method

If you need to cut off the high-voltage system urgently, you must first disconnect the high voltage circuit connection and then disconnect the negative terminal battery. Disconnect the high-voltage circuit by unplugging the high-voltage interlock circuit connector, which is located next to the cabin fuse box.

The method of cutting off the high voltage system is as follows:

1. Open the hood;

2. Find the high-voltage interlock circuit connector Elocated above wheel wrap near the driver's side and below the engine compartment fuse box ;

3. Pull out the locking spring on the connector housing, press the spring and unplug the connector to disconnect the high-voltage circuit of the vehicle;

4. Open the trunk, disconnect the negative battery cable and insulate it.

• Do not manually shut off the high-voltage system except in emergency situations.
