Vehicle driving

Electric power steering system (EPS) The electric power steering system effectively reduces the driver's effort in turning the steering wheel, offering light steering at low speeds and stable steering at high speeds, thereby enhancing driving comfort and handling stability. In the following situations, the electric power steering system warning light may remain off, but the driver might experience heavy steering, which is considered normal:  When the vehicle is stationary, frequently turning the steering wheel for an extended period can weaken the power assist effect of the electric power steering system. Avoid turning the steering wheel to prevent system overheating. Wait for the system to cool down before continuing operation. Caution Hearing a buzzing sound from the power assist motor when turning the steering wheel is considered normal. Unauthorized replacement of the steering gear, steering column, or steering wheel is prohibited. If replacement is needed, please contact an authorized service center. Warning! Repeatedly turning the steering wheel for extended durations while the vehicle is stationary can damage the electric power steering system. Holding the steering wheel in the extreme position for more than 10 seconds can damage the power assist motor.
