Fault handling When the ACC system detects radar obstruction, radar fault, or a related system fault, the cruise status indicator on the instrument display screen turns orange with a corresponding prompt: 1. The radar is obstructed If the instrument display screen prompts "Forward millimeter wave radar obstruction," please clean the radar surface. If cleaning fails to automatically resolve the issue over an extended period, please visit an authorized service outlet for assistance. 2. Limited functionality The following faults have occurred, and the fault indication cannot be automatically resolved over an extended period. If the issue persists after restarting the vehicle, please visit an authorized service outlet for maintenance: The function is temporarily unavailable; Adaptive cruise control system fault; Adaptive cruise control system communication malfunction. In the following situations, please proceed to an authorized service outlet for professional calibration of the radar: Remove or remount the radar or front bumper; External forces causing radar instability or abnormal positioning; The vehicle has been involved in a collision; Degradation in ACC performance (e.g., unusually short target detection distances or frequent misidentification of adjacent lane vehicles) Abnormal function of the automatic emergency braking system (such as frequent false alarms or braking errors). Caution Improper maintenance at the front end of the vehicle may alter radar positioning and affect ACC functionality. Hence, maintenance tasks must be executed by authorized service outlets.
