Around view monitor system System overview
The around view monitor system uses four cameras located at the front, rear, left, and right to capture images surrounding the body, creating a 360-degree overhead view displayed via the body's infotainment system as a parking assistance feature. This system significantly reduces blind spots, aiding smooth parking and enhancing navigation through narrow roads and alleys. Warning! Around view monitor might distort object contours on screen. Do not solely rely on image estimation for distances between the vehicle and obstacles (vehicles, pedestrians, etc.). Make judgments based on actual conditions to ensure safety! Due to the resolution limitations of the panoramic system, certain objects such as thin poles, grilles, and trees may not display or may appear unclear. Some blind spots remain in the around view monitor's front and rear views. Consistently observe the vehicle's surroundings. Around view monitor displays only 2D images on screen; spatial depth is lacking, making it challenging or impossible to identify road surface protrusions or potholes. Caution Always monitor the vehicle's surrounding environment. The parking space width should be at least equal to or greater than the vehicle's extension line width. Utilize the around view monitor system when the back door is securely closed, the side mirrors are fully extended, and both front doors are properly shut. The panoramic camera is mounted externally on the vehicle body and can easily collect dirt. If video clarity is compromised, manually clean the lens surface with a soft cloth. Caution In the following scenarios, the 360-degree camera becomes non-functional or its capability is restricted: The door is open; Folding outside rear view mirror; Back door not closed; Heavy rain, snow, or fog;
