Lane departure warning system (LDW) System overview

The lane departure warning system (LDW) serves as an auxiliary alert system, notifying drivers when they unintentionally drift from their lane during high-speed driving conditions. It utilizes an intelligent front-facing camera mounted behind the windshield to detect lane markings ahead. When the vehicle crosses these lane markings, it alerts the driver through visual, auditory, or steering wheel vibrations. Warning! LDW is an auxiliary feature that does not guarantee its applicability in all driving situations. You must maintain control of the vehicle, drive cautiously, and assume full responsibility for vehicle driving. The system may trigger warnings or corrections (if configured) only when activated and upon recognizing lane markings that comply with relevant regulatory standards. Under harsh weather conditions, the system may malfunction, as elements like rain, snow, fog, or intense contrast lighting (such as when navigating tunnels) can impair its functionality. In the following scenarios or road conditions, the system might not operate, or it might issue false alarms: 1. Temporary roadwork markings, etc.

2. Road surfaces exhibiting puddles or cracks 3. Lane markings obscured by dust, snow, etc. 4. The sensor is obstructed 5. Sharp turns or narrow roads 6. All-terrain mode enabled

Warning! Windshield repairs near the sensor (located at the rear view mirror) are strictly forbidden. Cracks or similar damage can impair camera functionality, necessitating full windshield replacement. Instructions for use Click on "Vehicle Center" - "Intelligent Driving" - "Driving Assistance" on the central control display screen to enable or disable the "Lane Departure Assistance Mode".
