The reverse cross traffic alert function may not issue warnings promptly in all reversing situations. In the following cases, the alert might only activate when the target vehicle is extremely close, due to the reduced detection area caused by obstructions from surrounding objects. 1. The detection area is blocked by adjacent vehicles.
