Vehicle driving

Caution Every time the vehicle is powered on, the warning indicator on the outside rear view mirror lights up. If it extinguishes after 3 seconds, the system is operational. Emergency lane keeping system (ELK) ※ System overview The emergency lane keeping system (ELK) applies reverse steering force to prevent or lessen collision damage when there is a collision threat between the vehicle and the road boundary guardrail or when the vehicle deviates from the lane with an incoming vehicle during medium to high-speed scenarios. It uses an intelligent forward-facing camera mounted behind the windshield to detect lane markings and road edges ahead and employs millimeter-wave radars mounted inside the rear bumper on both sides to identify oncoming vehicles. ELK includes emergency correction based on road edge (ELK_re) and emergency correction based on rearward vehicles (ELK_LCS). Caution ELK is an auxiliary function and cannot ensure suitability in all driving conditions. You must retain control, navigate cautiously, and assume complete responsibility for vehicle driving. ELK can be triggered only when the system is active and complies with regulatory lane marking standards. Under adverse weather conditions, such as rain, snow, fog, or strong contrast lighting (e.g., tunnel transitions), the system's operation may be compromised. In certain scenarios or road sections, the system may fail to operate or trigger false correction:  Temporary road construction markings, etc.  Water or cracks on the road surface.  Lane markings obscured by dust/snow, etc.  Sensor obstruction  Sharp turns or narrow roads.  When a trailer is attached to the rear of the vehicle.  All-terrain mode enabled Warning! Windshield repairs near the sensor (located at the rear view mirror) are strictly forbidden. Cracks or similar damage can impair camera functionality, necessitating full windshield replacement. Minor movement of the radar sensor could lead to system malfunction. If the sensor and surrounding area experience an impact, please visit an authorized service center for check.
