Cleaning and maintenance
Body and accessories Body exterior cleaning General instructions Routine vehicle maintenance is vital for preserving vehicle quality and is a key factor in validating the quality warranty against body rust and paint defects. Stains on vehicles may contain solvents or corrosive substances, potentially leading to corrosion or damage to vehicle components. Remove surface dust and debris promptly, as prolonged adhesion increases the difficulty of cleaning and maintenance. For challenging stains, contact an authorized service center to prevent damage. The vehicle should be cleaned immediately under the following conditions: 1. When vehicles accumulate significant dust or mud; 2. Following driving along coastal areas or saline-alkali roads; 3. After operating in regions contaminated by coal smoke, oil fumes, mineral dust, iron filings, or chemicals; 4. When the car paint surface is covered with coal tar, tree sap, dead insects, or insect droppings; 5. When substances like benzene and gasoline splatter onto the car paint surface. Carefully read the instructions for use of products or consult manufacturers when using commercial cleaning or disinfecting products on vehicles. This helps to prevent corrosion, discoloration, or peeling of the body's plastic, high-gloss surfaces, leather, and rubber components. It is advised to conduct spot testing before use, applying products via wiping rather than spraying. Exercise caution with the car's paint surface; do not use hard tools like circular parts or ice scrapers to prevent scratching or damage. In cold weather, avoid spraying water directly onto gaps at door locks, doors, handles, front hoods, trunks, and back door covers to prevent freezing of handles, locks, and seals. Post-vehicle cleaning, braking efficacy may diminish. Exercise caution with braking and observe traffic conditions to fully restore braking capability. Caution Avoid washing the vehicle under direct sunlight. Caution
