Maintenance and self-service
Manual car wash Pre-soften stains with ample water before washing the car. Use soft cleaning tools like sponges or gloves to clean the car. Begin cleaning from the roof, working top to bottom, finishing with wheels, door sills, and similar parts. Utilize car-specific cleaning agents only when dirt is difficult to remove. Cleaning requirements for matte car paint Clean matte painted vehicles using hand-washing or soft devices free of gravel (e.g., EVA foam brushes). Avoid cleaning products with polishing capabilities. When cleaning manually, bird droppings, insect glue, tree sap or clumped mud and sand should be softened with water and carefully rinsed off before cleaning. Afterward, clean the surface with a neutral soap solution, and finally use a matte paint specialized cleaner to remove small stains. Avoid sanding, polishing, or waxing matte paint to preserve the matte finish. Do not use a touch-up pen for car paint repairs. If the matte paint surface is damaged, consult an authorized service center. Car paint maintenance Avoid contact with strong acids and strong bases. Avoid prolonged parking under trees (bird droppings, pollen, insect corpses, etc. are corrosive). Promptly remove foreign objects like bird droppings, pollen, juice, tree sap, insect bodies, and tree seeds from the paint surface using wet wipes to prevent damage. Avoid parking near chemical plants or areas prone to producing fine iron particles, such as steel mills and railways. Keep distance from large vehicles (like trucks) during driving. Drive slowly on gravel roads to prevent stone chips that might damage the paint. Avoid long-term sun exposure; for prolonged outdoor parking, use a car cover for protection. Avoid contact with volatile substances like gasoline and engine oil. If contact occurs, immediately wipe the area with a specialized cloth. Regular waxing helps protect the car's paint surface; it is recommended to apply high-quality hard wax at least twice annually. When the body surface shows no obvious water droplets after cleaning, apply a high-quality wax solution. If the car paint loses its gloss, polish it with a wax-containing polishing agent to restore shine. If the car's paint surface is scratched, clean and dry the area, sand with 1500# sandpaper, and polish with a wool pad. If the issue persists, seek repair at an authorized service center. Caution
