Emergency situations Emergency call system (ECALL) ※ Overview of emergency call system

This vehicle is equipped with an ECALL emergency call system. In the event of a serious accident, the ECALL system connects you to the appropriate PASP (Public Safety Answering Point) through an audio link. Once connected, the service personnel will transfer you to a rescue agency for assistance according to your wishes. ECALL system activation methods Method 1: Automatic activation When your vehicle experiences a serious collision, the ECALL system automatically activates. (Unable to hang up during the automatic activation process, can only be terminated by the rescue backend) Method 2: Manual activation If you require assistance, you can also manually activate the ECALL system through the following methods. Press and hold the emergency call button on the roof console for more than 3 seconds and then release it to activate the ECALL system (see the button position in the figure below).
