Ensure that the seat belt is securely fastened to the front passenger, providing maximum protection. When the seat belt pretensioner is activated, it may produce a loud noise and generate smoke and dust. This is normal and non-toxic, but may cause skin irritation or respiratory discomfort. Ensure proper ventilation and clean exposed skin thoroughly. Danger! After the pretensioner activates or after ten years of vehicle use, visit an authorized service center to replace the seat belt. Any maintenance or inspection of the pretensioner must be performed by an authorized service center. Unauthorized modification or deactivation of the airbag system, striking of the airbag controller or sensors, or damaging the airbag control circuit is prohibited, as it may cause the pretensioner to inadvertently activate or malfunction. Unauthorized modification, removal, tapping, or opening of pretensioner components or tampering with or damaging the wiring is prohibited, as it may cause the pretensioner to accidentally activate or become nonfunctional.
Danger! Drivers are prohibited from adjusting the seat belt while the vehicle is in motion. Rear seat belt
The rear seat belt is a three-point seat belt, with the corresponding buckle angled on the rear seat cushion. To use, insert the seat belt tongue into the corresponding buckle. The left and right rear seat belts are equipped with pretensioners.
Seat belt load limiting function The rear seat belt retractors are equipped with force limiting technology.
In the event of a sufficient frontal collision, if the tension on the chest strap exceeds the set threshold, the retractor releases a certain length of webbing to reduce the risk of chest compression injuries to passengers. Rear seat belt pretensioner The rear left/right seat belts feature pretensioners that activate regardless of passenger presence in the rear seats.
