3. The airbag absorbs collision energy and works with the seat belt to protect the occupant's head and upper body, mitigating injury.

4. The gas in the airbag is released rapidly to reduce the impact on passengers.

Danger! When the airbag deploys, it emits a loud noise and releases smoke, a result of the airbag's gas generator detonating, which is not unusual. Although this smoke is non-toxic, it may cause respiratory discomfort. Open the windows immediately to maintain airflow and promptly wash off any powder from the eyes and skin. Once the airbag system has deployed, its components may become very hot. Avoid direct contact with these areas or corresponding parts. Should residue contact occur, rinse thoroughly with water to prevent allergic reactions. Airbags inflate rapidly and with significant force, potentially causing injuries such as abrasions, bruises, and fractures. Airbags are single-use items which require replacement post-collision and deployment.
