Airbag deployment is not directly correlated with vehicle damage extent and does not solely rely on collision incidence. Airbag deployment is contingent on various factors such as impact speed, collision angle, and overall vehicle deceleration. When colliding with deformable or mobile objects like guardrails, increased speed is required for airbag deployment compared to fixed, non-deformable objects. Pre-collision emergency braking by the driver may reduce impact intensity below airbag activation threshold, preventing deployment. In a sequential collision scenario, airbag deployment occurs only upon the first instance of meeting detonation criteria. During consecutive impacts, airbags may not deploy in minor collisions due to insufficient strength, but will activate in subsequent major impacts once deployment criteria are met.
Danger! Please ensure that the airbag system functions correctly. If the airbag indicator faults, immediately visit an authorized service center for maintenance; otherwise, it may lead to the airbag failing to deploy during a collision, causing injury. After the vehicle is submerged or the passenger compartment is flooded, promptly contact an authorized service center to check the airbag controller to prevent faults that may result in accidental or non-deployment of the airbag, causing accidents and personal injury. Airbag operational process 1. In a collision, when the sensors detect an impact above a certain threshold, the signal is sent to the airbag control unit, which decides whether deployment occurs; 2. The airbag receives the deployment signal from the control unit, expands, and deploys, forming a cushioning airbag between the occupant and interior components;
