Vehicle Driving
Enable IACC
When the vehicle is powered on or in READY state, touch [Vehicle Center] - [Intelligent Driving] - [Driving Assistance] - [Intelligent Driving Preferences] on the central control display screen to enable [Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control].
CAUTION
When you lend your vehicle to friends or family members, please be sure to inform them that they need to watch the smart driving assistance learning video and read the instruction manual carefully before use.
Activate IACC
After IACC is enabled, when the activation conditions are met, the IACC icon on the central control display screen will be displayed in white (white on a black background, or black on a white background). At this time, the IACC can be activated by moving the gear lever downward once, and the system will assist the driver in acceleration, deceleration and steering control. After activating IACC, the IACC status indicator on the central control display turns green, and the driver can set the cruising speed, following time and distance interval, etc. by referring to the usage of the adaptive cruise control system (ACC).
IACC cannot be activated in some situations, such as when the wipers are in high gear in rainy conditions or the lane lines are unclear. IACC will enter the pending activation state. At this time, IACC will only assist the driver in accelerating and decelerating the vehicle and cannot provide steering assistance control. Once the conditions for pending activation are resolved, the steering assistance can automatically restore.
CAUTION
Each time IACC is activated, the cruising speed will be reset to the current speed, with a minimum of 20km/h and a maximum of 130km/h.
