Vehicle Driving
width and height restricted doors, gantries, etc.).
• The radar installation position is changed, such as when it is subjected to strong vibration or slight impact. • The camera may not operate in cold or harsh climate conditions. Rain, snow, fog and low illumination can all affect the camera's recognition of pedestrians and reduce the performance of the Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system for pedestrians.
• When the sensor is blocked by bird droppings, mud, ice, insects, etc.
• Structural modifications to the vehicle (such as lowering chassis height, changing the vehicle's front license plate mounting plate, etc.) may reduce the performance of the Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system or increase the false triggering rate.
• The driver depresses the accelerator pedal deeply.
• The target is special vehicles with unclear tail contours and irregular shapes.
System operation
On the central control display screen, click [Vehicle Center] - [Intelligent Driving] - [Safety Assistance] to turn on or off the "Forward Collision Warning" and " Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) " functions.
CAUTION
The early warning auxiliary braking system is in the background working state and won’t be detected by the driver. If the front vehicle is detected by the system, it won’t be displayed to the driver before the danger level is reached. To reduce the brake response time, when the system detects that there is a collision risk, it will actively establish the brake fluid circuit pressure in advance according to the hazard level. During this process, the solenoid valve and motor of ESC will work, and the driver may hear the sound of "da da", which is a normal phenomenon when the automatic emergency brake assist system works.
WARNING
The system must be shut down when:
• When the vehicle is being towed.
• When the vehicle is on the drum test bench.
• When the radar or camera installation position is changed (such as when a rear - end collision occurs).
Forward collision warning system
When following a vehicle too close for a long time, the central control display screen will prompt "Please maintain a safe distance". This alarm only works for moving vehicles at the vehicle speed (60 km/h~150 km/h).
