The seasoned traveller’s
approach to packing.
Operated via the car’s remote control or internal and
external buttons, the Levante’s power tailgate reveals
a 580-litre luggage compartment that is able to
accommodate enough large suitcases for a long
summer holiday – and more. As an option, the car can
also be specified with ‘hands free’ opening, which can
also be activated by simply placing a foot underneath
the rear bumper when one’s hands are full. Inside
there is a boot light, a handy 12V power outlet and
special chromed eyelets for the connection of luggage
nets. The rear bench seatback can be folded down
asymmetrically to take particularly large items of
luggage, whilst a load-through hatch opens up to carry
skis or golf clubs. As an option, special metal cargo rails
with four movable rings are available to make the
management of the luggage or load even easier.
The Maserati Levante is equipped with other
electronic devices that have been designed to make
driving safer and even more rewarding. These include
the exterior electrochromic rearview mirrors that
darken progressively as light intensity increases, and
a power rear side sunblind to enhance privacy and
screen occupants from sunlight. For greater thermal
insulation and quieter journeys, the Levante can be
specified with double laminated, acoustic glass
windows at the rear (a standard feature of the
windscreen and front windows). In addition, for
additional versatility, a tow bar is available for this
multi-talented vehicle. Its 2,700 kg towing capacity is
ideal for boats, horseboxes, trailers and the like.
